I just finished reading the book on my iPad. It was great!! Most of the stuff, I already do but I do not walk 4 miles. Perhaps 2.5 3 days a week. I’m trying to get my core (abs) in shape but it seems like they are the last to go. Any suggestions?
i read the book 6 months ago, and ever since then i’ve been walking 4 miles everyday, its probably the only thing i’ve managed to keep up, and i feel alot better.

I just finished reading your book on my nook. I was excited to read i have been following most of your tips except for the water. I have to admit I am a diet soda addict! I am at normal weight, exercise regularly and eat sensibly. But, this book has inspired me to improve further by being more regular with strength training, eating more natural foods, drinking more water and I will also try to encourage my husband to join me in my quest for getting healthier. Definitely worth a read once and maybe more to keep the motivation going.
I’ve always been an avid walker. I walk close to 4 miles each day by building it into my routine (I walk to the train instead of taking the bus, for example). After I had my son, I lost all of my pregnancy weight plus 6 pounds in 5 months by taking him for long walks in his stroller every day. My mom lost over 100 pounds in 9 months by making small diet modifications and walking 4 miles each day. Humans were meant to move. If your job requires you to sit for long periods, you MUST fit time to move into every day–your body will love you back for it!
I do most of these things already but the book is a great check list of what should be done. I need to drink more water. Thanks for a great motivational book that even the health consious can benefit from.
