48 Miles Hiking in the Grand Canyon – Oh My!
Yes, I did it! I hiked rim to rim to rim in the Grand Canyon successfully. That is me in the above picture – the tall guy, second from the right. It took six days and five nights backpacking and sleeping outside in campsites along the way. This was one of the coolest things I have ever done in my life. I will have a link to some really cool pics and videos real soon so stay tuned. In the meantime, what are you doing right now to be healthy?

Did you return with a full beard?
Yes, I had quite a bit of growth but shaved it quickly since it was very gray!
Welcome home! I so enjoyed meeting you and your gang at Phantom Ranch last Tuesday evening….You all were a riot! Wonder how much ooomph you had by the end– I was almost tempted to drive up to the Canyon again, on the day I thought you’d be heading out, to greet you and congratulate you all, with my Flip Camera in hand! Sharon – it was GREAT meeting you as well. You should have come to see us finish!!! We were all good except that Larry had to drop out after day 3 at the North Rim due to heat related illness. He is OK though. We saw Rock Springs Cafe on the way back but had already gotten breakfast at The Place in Flagstaff. I know our paths will cross again. You are VERY cool and it was a blast hanging out with you. Dave
